Accountant/Finance Director in a limited liability company

Location: Bielsko-Biała (hybrid work)

Job description:

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Accountant to also serve as Chief Financial Officer. This position will be responsible for comprehensive financial management of the company, optimizing accounting and tax processes, and co-developing the company's financial strategy. The position operates in a hybrid format with the Bielsko-Biała office.

Duties:

• Independently maintaining full accounting records of a limited liability company in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Developing and implementing a financial strategy that supports the company's business goals.
• Optimization of production costs, logistics and financial processes in the company.
• Support in the analysis of product and collection profitability, cooperation with the production and purchasing department.
• Participation in strategic company projects, such as expansion into new markets, e-commerce development, and the introduction of new product lines.
• Financial liquidity management – ​​monitoring cash flows, controlling receivables and liabilities.
• Preparation of budgets, financial forecasts and reports.
• Supervising and streamlining processes related to payments, invoicing and document circulation.
• Cooperation with offices, auditors and tax advisors,
• Financial risk management and tax optimization,
• Creating financial reporting systems tailored to the specific needs of the company.
• Analysis of the profitability of marketing activities and promotional campaigns.

Requirements:

• Higher education in finance, accounting or economics.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance, including in a managerial position.
• Excellent knowledge of tax, accounting and financial law.
• The ability to analyze and interpret financial data and apply it in making business decisions.
• Experience in budget management, forecasting and cost analysis.
• Knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Symfonia, Optima) and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Knowledge of English at a level that allows fluent communication will be an additional advantage.
• Understanding the specifics of the fashion industry, including the seasonality of sales and the impact of trends on financial results.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and creativity in finance.
